There are a few ways to make money with your website, most used ones are advertising campaigns such as Adsense from google.

Google Adsense Is A good way to make money, what you do is, you sign up for google adsense with your google acount, when they approve your website, you can add codes which display text and image ads.Theres 2 main types of ads - one is a ad that you get paid for every time it is clicked or referral ads which you only get money for when the person signs up for the product or buys the product. Obviosly referral ads give more money but not everyone who clicks on the ad will buy the product so you will have to test to see which ones gives you most money.You have to follow Adsense rules, fake clicks wil get you banned. When you receive your first $10 you will have to verify your adress, phone number and enter your tax information. to find out more about what you have to do, check google. There Are Other Advertising Campaigns which work in simmilar ways such as Bidadvertiser and others,Google Adsense is probbably the best but you can always test others aswell, the thing i would not do is to mix ads from alot of campaigns.

You can make money by selling or advertising your own product - that way your product will be more popular and you will get more sells.

Or you can sell other people's Items and getting some commision from it, a good site for such things is Clickbank.Usually, you get a tracking code, you put into your website with a image or just text and if someone clicks on the link and buys the product you get a percentage of the money.

You can also make some of your words into ads with Kontera, what it does is, it makes some of your keywords into green links, when people go over the keyword, a ad is loaded, when it is clicked, you get money.Simple and easy.

Theres also pop up advertising and pop behind advertising, i do Not reccomend them since they are annoying to the visitor. pop up advertising is when someone visits your website, another window Pops up. Pop behind advertising is when someone visits your website, a popup window is opened but behind your website so the visitor will see it when they minimize or close your website's window.Ussualy in both, you get paid by the amount of people seeing them -CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) so they are particaly good if you receive lots and lots of visitors if not i would not put such ads on my website. As i said, i do not reccomend them because they annoy the visitor and they might not come back to your website just because of that ad.
